Mike Barillaro did his apprenticeship with Delta hotels and worked at the Vancouver Convention center as Chef De Partie and then Sous Chef. He worked for 3 years at The Pan Pacific hotel, followed by 10 years as an Executive Chef in the Golf resort industry.  Mike has been instructing in the College school system now for the past 22 years. This is Mike’s third year participating in the Bake the World a Better Place event, and decided to make the Tourtiere again this year because it was very popular in the first year.
