Lizzie is the Pastry Chef De Partie at Old Vines Restaurant located at Quails Gate winery. She is a Red Sealed Chef and avidly works to expand her knowledge of food through travel and education. She has worked around Australia but found herself returning to the Okanagan with its beautiful bounty.
Lizzie started her culinary career in high school with the Okanagan College culinary program, finishing at Vancouver Island University. Recently she completed a Pastry course at the Chocolate Academy Montreal.
This is her second year participating in Bake the World a Better Place fundraiser, and her Almond Frangipane and Plum tart is rich, indulgent, lightly spiced tart and is the perfect way to finish a meal especially paired with a bit of Vanilla ice cream. Instagram: @quailsgate @liz_b3
